    Classic old school A&W. Dial in the order from a phone at the table where you can get classic burgers and fries etc. We stop there often on our way home from camping. Always consistent. Best cheese curds outside of the state fair. IMHO, B-Bops has a better bacon double cheese, but A&W has A&W real root beer! A pretty good trade off. If your asking for a custom burger (mustard and pickle only or plain cheeseburger) make sure they repeat the order. Tonight, we're got a fritter that had no pickle and mustard instead of only pickle and mustard. Also got a cheeseburger with everything instead of plain. But I always tell my wife... quit trying to modify perfection and you'll never be disappointed.

    People that grew up on A&W burgers and root beer love to eat here when visiting Indianola. You can still order from your car and have your food brought out. The inside dining area is spotless. Good comfort food is served.

    Little salty but surprisingly good food. Kids lived the chicken strips. Not a fan of ordering by the phone at the tables but... Old school.
